I really like that lid rack. I need to find a way to do that but incorporate it into our cabinet drawers. All the lids laying willy nilly take up too much room.
Ed, I wish I'd gotten a lid rack sooner. It's so convenient! Not sure how you'd do it in a drawer, but you're very clever when it comes to building things, so I know you'll think of something. From the amazon reviews, people who installed the racks on cabinet doors found they had trouble closing the doors, or else couldn't fill it with all their lids. I'm glad I had the perfect all space for one.
I love your rugs where did you get your area rugs? I’d ask where you made them but I think they’re probably a good find someplace they are just stunning. And what is very amazing to me is an expert your dad is the same parts of the color spectrum lined up almost the same way whoever thought you’d have got rugs and rug rugs!
Tami, we got our snow the first saturday of the month. I'm not sure exactly how much; it was 3.5" when we went to bed, and started raining sometime before sun-up. That pic was taken when we went out for morning chores.
The oven fries are Jerusalem artichokes and turnips! It was the first time I tried roasting them in a cast iron pan. :)
Goatldi, I got the area rugs at Walmart! It was years ago when we did our kitchen. The colors matched my color scheme perfectly! I really like the small area rugs. Easier to keep clean than a large rug (especially in the kitchen), keep the standing areas warmer in winter, and help protect the wood floor to boot. :)
Did the daffs come before or after the snow? What were you canning? Your babies are adorable. Looks like spring cleaning is underway! Are those sun chokes you are digging up?
Rosalea, daffodils don't care about snow. Some years they come before, some years later! Yes! Those are sunchokes I'm digging (and roasting :). I'm canning bone broth in the photos. I was out of pints and had a nice big bag of bones in the freezer, so I made a big batch to can.
Jo, I've got some photos from years past of daffodils in the snow. Pretty neat. :)
It wouldn’t be so frustrating if I didn’t go through it several times before I sent it and it left just fine grammatically correct and everything. This is the first time it’s happened to me on a blog usually it’s not a problem so I’m wondering what the heck went wrong. And I simply do not have the time to sit down in front of a computer when I have my blog time in the morning so the phone will have to do it gets one more chance. Or I’ll need to change my time to check on blogs so I can use my chrome book bawahhhhhhh!
Love all those pictures, Leigh...especially the perfect adorable little kids! We got hammered in the last storm, but it has turned into rain today, which is just fine with me. We have a new computer, here on the ridge, and it is very welcomed, as the old one was over 10 years old... I feel like we are steppin in high Cotton! Lol!
Goatldi, I'm going to confess here that I find electronics in general to be frustrating. They aren't as perfect as we wish there were, prone to breaking and outdating, and require a lot of babysitting! I often wonder whether they are serving my needs, or I am serving theirs!
Wyomingheart, congratulations on the new computer! Always a delight, but usually with a huge learning curve. :)

Good ones all!
Those kids are SO adorable!
First daffs! I noticed some here yesterday.
Hope you enjoy your weekend!
Gorges, thanks!
Daisy, daffodils always seem to be the early teaser of spring. :) You have a good weekend too!
Fun pictures. They tell a story all by themselves! :-)
RT, I was hoping they would!

These are all great! When did you get snow? Those home-fries look so good I'm surprised you didn't hear my belly rumble.
They’re all great Leigh!

Yep daffodils blooming and here comes the snow!

Wow. I owe you an apology for my phone posting, even though I read it over twice, an erroneous comment.
I will explain later but rest assured you answered my inquiry and worked through the none sense. Feeling rather embarrassed and manipulated lol.
Love all the pictures, especially the goat kids and the daffodils. The daffodils are coming up here as well.
Goatldi, phone posting! That's one reason why I only have a dumb phone and avoid texting! lol
TB, thanks!

Not neat Leigh. The blooms die off so quickly.

Jo, well, that's just the way it is.
A wonderful visual history for the month. - Margy
Thanks Margy!
