I love the way goats and sheep climb on their mothers! He is adorable! Does he get to stay a buck or will he be a wether?

Poor Momma! He really gives her a workout doesn't he? He is adorable!!

He's a hunk'a, hunk'a buck! Surprise is sure a good little momma, letting him climb all over her like that. I know it's normal, but my girls usually get up and walk away when their kids start climbing on them very much.

I think they are just too cute at that stage - and I am quite glad that I am not a goat mum:)

King of the stump until more arrive to challenge him. :)

Barb, we intend to keep him intact. Since I have a somewhat rather informal breeding program in mind, he'll be in line to sire some second generation Kikobians. :)

Theresa, endlessly amusing!

Pam and DFW, thanks!

Stephanie and Michelle, Surprise has been amazingly tolerant. Of course, she hasn't been feeling 100% after that difficult birth. She's been sore and swollen and it may have been more trouble than it was worth to get up and move. :)

Bettina, they are a bundle of energy from day one.

Martha and Renee, thanks!

Benita,it's always more fun with buddies, isn't it? :)

He could hardly be cuter! Tell Ziggy to get crackin' . . . Alphie needs playmates!

You can see the difference in him the next day. He's stronger and filling out more. What a blessing!

I could be easily entertained all day watching Alphie romp around getting into trouble . . . cuteness to the "enth" degree!

Leigh,

I love the pictures, Alphie is a cutie and a little ham. He loves getting his picture taken :-)

What a little climber he is?

What a cutie!

Leigh, just FYI...get yourself one of those blue suction bulbs/devices they have in WalMart or drugstores for sucking mucous out of babies noses. I use it at lambing to suck out birthing fluids and the natural plugs the little ones have. No sooner than they hit the ground than I use that bulb on each nostril and open the mouth and use it there, very gently. Works wonders! :)
I clean it out then store it until the next lambing. It's sucky first, then naval dips for all! LOL!

Mama Pea, Ziggy better be soon! Alphie could definitely use some playmates. :)

Debbie, it's amazing because he doesn't seem to nurse much. At least Surprise is producing way more milk than he consumes. But he's a bundle of energyl

Janice, me too!

Sandy today he was allowed into the new pasture with his mom and he loved it. He was bouncing and leaping all over the place.

Bridget, thanks!

Kathy, I actually have one of those blue bulb syringes, but somehow it's been misplaced. I definitely need to find it before Ziggy's turn. :)
