I love the kitties looking at each other through the window.

Your daffs are brilliant!

Donna, thanks!

Daisy, those two are archenemies! Katy happens to be in Meowy's window viewing chair, hence the glare-down. :)

That last photo is "Home, Sweet Home"!

Great pictures Leigh! I can see how the camera class is working its way into your photography.

Ah, spring time! (Coming to us up here in the north woods in a couple of months. Or, perhaps by June 1st.) ;o)

The daffodils are a lovely sight. We're weeks and weeks away from Mother Nature's guarantee that spring is here, but looking forward to it. Your chook is very beautiful! What breed is it? It's difficult to find anything other than commercial red sex linked brown egg layers here.

Michelle, I confess that I had to uncover those daffodils from a mess of blackberry brambles. But I love flowers around the house and these never disappoint.

TB, thanks! Did you notice there's lots of diagonals in them? I didn't specifically set out to find them, but I think it's making sense that certain elements add interest to the picture.

Mama Pea, and when you've got spring coming on, I'll be complaining about our summer heat, LOL.

Nina, he's a speckled sussex. We had some years ago (from a mail order hatchery) but lost the last of them to a stray dog. My favorite feed store orders a mixture of chicks every spring so I was thrilled when they offered this breed. They only carried pullets, but Dan found this guy free on Craigslist. It's almost like it was meant to be!

Some great shots in there. Love the one of the 2 ducks.

Beautiful Leigh. Both the photography & subject matter(s) are all quite lovely.

Nice! Never seen ducks perching like that on a fence

RT, they're perched on top of the gate to the chicken yard. It's a new spot for them, but they're up there every morning enjoying the view.

Deb, thank you! I'm finally getting the hang of my new camera!

Nancy, Muscovies are interesting because they are considered tree (perching) ducks rather than water ducks. They do love water and love their baths, but they also love to perch on things like trees and buildings. The other thing I like about them is how quiet they are. They only quack when their in distress.

I haven't stopped by in a while, but loving all the photos of the place. It's looking amazing! I see Spring is waking up for you with abundant blooms, and what an adorable kid too!!
