I think goat kids are born with internal springs in their legs:) the colour of the doeling is really pretty - pity that you're not getting a fleece from them:)
I hope they'll grow well - looking forward to a few more kiddy pix:)

How did you get them to pose like that? I couldn't get mine to be still enough for great pictures like these! They look great.

Whose ears are those? Are Nigerian ears floppy like that and then they stand up like a German Shepherd?

Leigh said...

Ya'll, this is my favorite part of homesteading. :)

Barb, the floppy ears are from their Kiko dad. What I found last year, was that for 2 of the 3 kids, their ears straightened out as they got older. Zoey has straight ears now, but they're longer than Ziggy's!

Leigh,

So precious!!!!

And so very playful, they're just so much fun especially at this age.

Enjoy your new babies :-)

Just can't get any cuter than that! Healthy baby goats just exude joy and love of life.

Nobody else has "popped" yet, huh? I can imagine the circus you're going to have with a whole herd of the little wind-up toys in your goat yard.
