  2. Beautiful kids. Shame they didn't play together, but that will come with time now the how-do-you- dos are out of the way.

  3. So glad you had your camera for that. Sweetness.

  4. Sue, so far so good. The main thing I have to watch for at this age is coccidiosis. But I rarely see that in my kids so it's mostly just pure pleasure!

    Goatldi, agreed!

Jo, at first the moms are busy trying to keep the strangers away, but that's a losing battle, LOL. Now king-of-the-hill (or log) is all the kid rage. :)

Tpals, I always regret it when I leave my camera in the house! Really need a camcorder to catch all the fun. :)

  5. What a wonderful world this would be if all adults behaved like the young of this world. They are just too darn adorable.

  6. Somehow seeing them all together reminds me of kindergarten children running on a playground on a chilly fall day.

  7. Cuddly Cuteness off the charts! I am very thankful that you have a camera!

  8. Ok, it is ridiculous how cute this is!

  9. Gosh, it must be terribly cold in your neck of the woods for this time of year?

  10. RT, we could learn a lot from animals. :)

Ed, they are exactly like a bunch of little human kids. Trouble is, adult goats are the same way! LOL

    Wyomingheart, me too!

Kay, kidding season is my favorite time of year. :)

Quinn, we have had some cold weather, although for the kids it's just a little added insurance to make me feel better! They do well in the 30s or above, but lower than that and for the first several weeks I don't want their extra calories going to keeping warm.

  11. Rain, aren't they adorable? Such a happy time of year!

  12. they are irresistable in their funny little sweaters:) I think I'd spend all day watching them playing.... reminds me a bit of kindergarten kids at lunch break:)

  13. There should have been a Cuteness Overload warning!

  14. Weeee babies! Love it. So are these the only two does you kept, or were they the only ones expected to deliver kids this year?

  15. They are just too adorable for words!

  16. Helen, yes, that was pretty fun to see. :)

Bettina, I do spend all day watching them! Or at least until it's naptime. :)

Susan, I love having happy things to share.

    Nancy, :)

Chris, I have 3 more due to kid. One in three weeks, one next month, and one in April. I'm hoping to go to a two at a time schedule next year. Two to kid in spring, and two in fall. My goal is to keep a year around milk supply going.

Rose, this is the sweetest time with kids.

  17. Dear Lord. Can there be anything more cute than goat kids in sweaters?

  18. We used to bring ours inside the house to introduce them to the dogs, although they never liked the dogs inside their fence as they grew. So cute.

  19. Aww! That is just adorable! I'm wondering if you make their little sweaters yourself?

    ReplyDelete
  20. TB, a little cheer in winter drear!

Kristina, that's a good idea. Ours meet the cats and chickens whenever paths cross. Both of which are about their size, and they think it's great fun to discover that charging at a chicken will send it squawking in a flurry. :)

M.K., yes I did. A nice hand project to pass the time. :)

  21. Leigh,

They're gorgeous!!! I love their coloring, and of course the sweaters you make :-) Have you picked out names?

    Hugs,
    Sandy

  22. Cute little critters. I would have a hard time not turning them into pets!

  23. Sandy, working on names! I have a list of names I like but they have to be just right and fit the kid. :)

Mike, it's especially hard when they're so little and so cute. But then they grow up, LOL. Even so, it seems like at least one or more finds a special place in my heart. :)

  24. Keep it up Leigh and I'll be getting goats again afterall. With three new gks these last three years and a granddaughter on the way in May, we may have to cave in. I blame those cute blankie pics of yours!

  25. Donna, I'm sure Keith is already reminding you - they grow up to be goats! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Too cute for words. Did you make all those little sweaters for them? That's about the size I need for Annie. She has a blanket but of course she needs something for outside. Did you use a pattern? Probably not knwoing you. You're so talented!

  27. It just cracks me up that you put sweaters on your baby goats!?! We raised tons of baby goats (cashmere which was a cross of Kiko and Boer) but never even thought of putting sweaters on the hairy buggers - heeeheeeehahahahaha
They do look cute that way though!

  28. Sam, yes, I made them. I got the pattern from Fias Co Farm and then added the stripes for fun. :)

Rachel, only if it's going down into the 20s or if they newborn and shivering. I worry about hypothermia!
