Greenhouse: Windows In

Finally, the greenhouse walls are in. Since the walls are actually windows, it's the same as saying the windows are in. 😺 None of the windows along this wall will open, so it was a straightforward job. It just needed time to dry out.

Window framing. Dan bought 2x4s and then ripped them to the size he wanted.

Installing the window framing.

The windows we're using were all  original to the house. We saved them when we replaced them with energy efficient ones, with the idea of someday using them to build a greenhouse.

View from the inside.

View from the outside.

Still to do: exterior trim and paint.

LL, except that I think I've already over-planned it. :)

  3. I really admire how you get to those plans for materials and execute them. As opposed to a lot of us with great intentions and less ability to get a round tuit.

  4. Boud, well, a greenhouse has been on the project list for 13 years! And honestly, it didn't seem like it was ever going to materialize. But, rising food costs and shortages, plus what the so-called global leaders want to do, made it seem prudent to not neglect the project.

  10. Oh my gosh, I would give my right arm, well my left arm even, I'm left handed, for that greenhouse. It is wonderful!
