Michelle, at this point I can't credit the swale, because we haven't had much rain since we started working on it. We did have one well timed rain after we planted the seed!
The swale still needs some deepening and leveling, but that will probably have to wait until next winter. :)
If all that lush grass is due to the swale, I'd say it's a success!
