She had two visits with Randy back on November 3rd and 4th. That would put her official due date at either April 2nd or 3rd. I was thinking it was April 1st, so it's a good thing I went back and looked at my calendar. Not that it matters because goats are no better than people when it comes to due dates, so we still could have a few more days to go!
All in good time, right? I'm sure that waiting isn't fun. Can't wait to see pics when they do arrive! Maybe Daphne needs to eat some greens with Olive Garden salad dressing! What do you think?!!? ;)

ReplyDeleteUgh! But I feel your pain. I've been going in and out of the barn for the past three days, waiting for two of my gals to pop. And they are taking their sweeeeeeeet time. Storm coming in a few hours. Wanna bet they go into labor then?

Just try to keep from wearing yourself out checking on her 24 hours a day! She'll be in fine shape for the birth, but you'll be worn out!!

Mama Pea, Dan says the same thing. But I can't not check frequently. even if it means getting up several times during the night. Thankfully the times I've missed a kidding, things have gone well. When I was going to be needed, I was there!
