Love it! I don't know how you can keep yourself from not rubbing that sweet tummy though...grin.

What a great cat. I wish Hubby wasn't so allergic.

LOL. Perfect! Looks like he is hogging all the good spots, where is his little sister?

I am thinking that Riley may have the right idea. Who couldn't use a day devoted to finding the best sleeping position on the couch.

Tami, he loves to have his tummy rubbed!

Heather, yeah, it's hard to have animal allergies. I feel fortunate that neither of us does, especially since we need them to catch mice and rats!

Theresa, it fits, doesn't it. :)

BM&T, his little sister is snug asleep in her kitty basket. She'll get her own blog post soon. :)

Jane, agreed! And what better day than today. :)

I think he has outgrown that chair. LOL

Now THAT is true relaxation. But, gosh darn, you can work up an appetite from so much snoozing!

is that why you named him riley?:)) he looks very comfy there - I think it's very cute when cats are so trusting that they can sleep like that! our dog likes that too - it's just that she is so big that there isn't much space left - on the sofa:))

If I fell asleep in some of those positions I wouldn't be able to move my neck for a week, but Riley somehow makes it look comfy. Your kitties definitely have it made! :)

What a great series of photos! Really made me smile...your cat Riley is a character...I bet he keeps you it stitches all the time.

Oh, Riley, you look so comfy in those photos. And after such a long nap, it was time to refuel.

Ginger said...

Oh my goodness, you stole my cat! Our Loki looks very similar and sleeps in 'his' chair the exact same way. LOL

Leigh said...

Renee, he's outgrown everything! LOL

Mama Pea, it's a good lesson we can learn from a cat. (The relaxation, not the napping to work up an appetite, :)

Bettina, naw, Riley was the only name that fit when he was a little bit. Who knew it would fit after he grew up!

Kari, me too! I'm amazed at the positions they can sleep in. :)

Lynda, he's a hoot. So different in personality from his sister too. Never a dull moment around here.

Jan, it's the best way to spend a Sunday, isn't it? :)

Ginger, how funny. Twins!

Debbie, that is so true. But really, their independence is what I love about cats. I don't feel like I need to be entertaining them all the time!

I enjoyed the chuckle - thanks!!
