Merry Christmas!

We finally got our tree up last night.

The best part is that it is our own, from our own land.

Warm holiday wishes to all my readers.

Leigh, your decorations are lovely! very colourful and it looks like you put up a lot of nice memories each year... our tree is only going up tomorrow morning, but I finished all the cookies and preparations, so I'll have a nice time tomorrow to put our baubles etc. into the tree! I hope you and your family are going to have a great christmas in your new home and a great year to come for 2010! all the best, Bettina

It's a fine tree! Looks lovely. I also love the nativity set with all the sheep.;-)
You two have a wonderful first Christmas in your new home. May you have many more, each as magical
as this one.

Your tree is festive and perfect! I love the colored lights, your little houses, ornaments, etc.
Have a very Merry Christmas all snug in your home with new floors and a wood stove!!

I love the fact that you have your very own tree, from your own land. I wanted that, too, but we didn't have any trees that even looked halfway as good as yours! We looked!

Merry Christmas to your & your family, from your internet family!

Such lovely decorations! I like all the houses in the cabinet, is this a Christmas tradition where you live?
I wish you and your family a really happy Christmas in your new home! Greetings from (almost)the north pole!

Merry Christmas to you, Leigh, and your DH and Rascal as well!
And thank you so very much for sharing your Christmas with us - the tree and ornaments & decorations are really great. (Thanks for the idea)

When Christmas comes, I often think and re-think of all the nice things in my life. Among those thoughts is a big "Warm-Fuzzy" spot for friends, like you, Leigh...friends who add so much to my life.
Pax vobiscum.

Thank you one and all for your good wishes! It's been a delight to share our adventure with you all.

Barb, I made some of the decorations. The needlepoint village and needlepoint cookie cutter ornaments were made by my stepmom. I did the knitting and the needlepoint snowflakes.

Theresa, that little nativity was a family project one year. We found the cutouts in a catalog and we all helped paint them. That's what makes it a treasure to me, and I like all the sheep too. :)

Charlotte, the village is a tradition for our family. My stepmom made the first one right around the time my daughter (now 26) was born. She'd send one or two a year, until this year because she's been sick. Each one has a music box too!

Merry Christmas to my blogging friends!

P.S. I loved the little gift bags you made for your home canned goodies! They look so festive.

Merry Christmas to you Leigh. Enjoy the day - and all the days to come. It's freezing cold here in Dublin - looks slippy outside so we haven't gone out yet.
